Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy
The short version
- United States: all sales are final. We do not offer voluntary returns, exchanges or cancellations for change of mind. This does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including remedies for damaged, defective, misdescribed or wrongly supplied products.
- United Kingdom—personalised prints: no change-of-mind cancellation applies to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
- United Kingdom—standard prints: a standard catalogue design does not become “personalised” merely because it is printed after you order. UK consumers may cancel eligible standard physical-print orders within 14 days after delivery.
- Digital products: once supply begins with the consent and acknowledgement described below, the sale is final for change-of-mind purposes. Legal remedies for faulty or misdescribed digital content remain available.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
Funky Enough Designs, trading as “Frankly Pickled” (“Frankly Pickled”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
Email: info@franklypickled.com
Please contact us before sending anything back. We will provide the appropriate return instructions and return details after authorisation. Returns sent to a production partner or an address on the parcel may be refused and may not reach us.
2. Product categories
- Standard physical print: a non-personalised design offered in our catalogue. Choosing ordinary listed options such as a standard size or frame does not, by itself, make an item personalised.
- Personalised or custom physical print: an item made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised, for example with names, dates, custom wording, a customer-supplied image, or a specially commissioned design.
- Digital product: artwork or another file supplied by download, email, link or other electronic means and not on a tangible medium.
3. United Kingdom consumers
3.1 Standard physical prints: statutory change-of-mind cancellation
If you are a UK consumer buying an eligible standard physical print online, you may cancel without giving a reason. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, receives the goods. If one order is delivered in separate lots or pieces, the period ends 14 days after receipt of the last lot or piece.
To cancel, email info@franklypickled.com before the deadline with a clear statement that you are cancelling. You may use the model form in section 10, but you do not have to.
You must send the goods back no later than 14 days after telling us you are cancelling. Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied, you bear the direct cost of return. We recommend tracked, adequately insured postage. You are responsible only for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
We will reimburse the price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. We need not reimburse any extra amount paid for premium delivery. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or you provide evidence that you sent them back, whichever happens first. We will reimburse you within 14 days after that point, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and without a refund fee.
3.2 Personalised or custom physical prints
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. These orders are final once placed and cannot be returned, exchanged or cancelled merely because you change your mind. If an item does not in fact meet the legal test for this exception, section 3.1 applies.
3.3 Digital products and immediate supply
UK consumers ordinarily have a 14-day cancellation period for digital content supplied at a distance. We provide digital products during that period only where, before supply begins, you:
- expressly consent to supply beginning immediately and before the cancellation period ends; and
- acknowledge that you will lose the statutory right to cancel once the download or other supply begins.
Once supply has begun after that consent and acknowledgement, the digital product is final for change-of-mind purposes. If we begin supply without obtaining both, your statutory cancellation rights are not excluded. Your order confirmation will record the consent and acknowledgement.
3.4 Faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrect products
Nothing in this policy limits rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other mandatory law. Physical goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. UK consumers normally have a 30-day short-term right to reject goods that do not conform, followed where applicable by repair or replacement and then price reduction or final rejection rights.
Digital content must also be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it does not conform, you may be entitled to repair or replacement and, where the law provides, a price reduction up to the full price. If we had no right to supply it, you may be entitled to a refund. These remedies are separate from change-of-mind cancellation.
4. United States customers
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not accept returns or exchanges and do not provide refunds or cancellations for change of mind, ordering the wrong size or format, colour differences within the normal limitations disclosed on the product page, or no longer wanting the product.
This final-sale rule is displayed before purchase and forms part of the contract. It does not exclude any non-waivable federal or state right, applicable express or implied warranty, or remedy for merchandise that is defective, damaged in transit, materially not as described, wrongly supplied, or never supplied.
Where applicable law gives you a right that is more favourable than this policy, that law controls. No provision requires a California, New York or other US customer to waive a right that cannot lawfully be waived.
5. Customers outside the UK and USA
We offer physical delivery outside the UK and USA only where a product page expressly says so. Unless mandatory law in your country gives you a right to cancel or another remedy, digital-product sales are final once supply begins and any physical personalised-product sale expressly offered to your location is final once ordered. Any non-waivable consumer protection in your place of residence continues to apply.
6. Reporting a problem
Email info@franklypickled.com promptly with your order number and a description of the problem. For physical goods, please include clear photographs of the product, its packaging and shipping label where reasonably possible. For digital products, include the device, software, file type and error message, but do not send passwords or payment-card details.
Contacting us within 14 days of delivery helps us investigate carrier or production damage, but this request does not shorten any longer period available under mandatory law. Do not destroy, return or dispose of a problem item until we give instructions. Where the law makes us responsible for return costs, we will provide a prepaid method or reimburse reasonable return postage.
Depending on the applicable law and the problem, we may repair, replace, re-perform delivery, reduce the price or refund the affected product. We may ask for reasonable evidence of purchase and of the claimed fault. We will not require return of a digital file, but any licence ends if a full refund lawfully terminates the contract.
7. Delivery failures and delays
If we cannot ship within the time stated at purchase—or, for US orders where no time was stated, within 30 days—we will seek any consent required by law to a revised shipping date or promptly cancel and refund the affected unshipped merchandise. UK orders will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is made unless another time is agreed.
If a parcel is shown as delivered but is missing, check the delivery details, safe places and neighbours, then contact us promptly. We will investigate with the carrier. This does not transfer to a consumer a risk that the law places on us.
8. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method through Payhip and the relevant payment provider unless the law requires, or you expressly agree to, another method. Bank processing times after a refund is issued are outside our control. We do not issue store credit instead of a refund where the law requires money to be returned.
9. Payment disputes
Please contact us first so we can investigate quickly. Nothing in this policy removes any lawful right to dispute a card transaction. A payment dispute made dishonestly or after receiving a valid refund may be contested with evidence of the order, delivery and policy acceptance.
10. Model cancellation form for eligible UK orders
Complete and send this form only if you wish to cancel a contract for which the statutory cancellation right applies.

11. Changes to this policy
The version in force when you order governs that purchase. We may update this policy prospectively, for example to reflect legal or operational changes. We will not use a later version to reduce rights already attached to an order.
